Kuma isn't joining, dude is being written as a death character.
Bonney, I can see joining.
Though, at this point of the story, I'd still prefer someone with strength(Yamato :neesama:)if anyone joins at all.
Frankly, I'm not that invested in the whole "Who will be the next Strawhat" storyline. I just simply think Jewelry Bonney, considering the narrative energy holds right now, she could possibly end up joining, but I'm not fully on board either.
I do think it's interesting that from a 1v1...
Thank you, I ended up taking an extended break from One Piece as wano burnt me out, but yeah, I think Bonney has some narrative energy to join. Just from the current backstory, I feel like Kuma's hopes and dreams he has about Nika that he shares with Bonney really do feel like a legitimate...
Honestly, I was under the impression that Jinbe would be the last, but(I'm not jumping to conclusion) it definitely seems Bonney could end up travelling with the strawhats.
Kuma spent his life taking in pain and smiling.... but now its time for him to take his pain and give it to Saturn. How poetic.
Flashback isn't bad at all. I little wonky but not bad.
Yamato ending up a pointless character is just another shitty decision by Oda.
This whole arc is a complete disappointment.
I really don't feel any ounce of excitement for the ending of One Piece.
Regardless of what's been said here...
This is the start of Interactions between Yamato and Strawhats. So this is a great first step to fleshing out their relationships.
For the most part, I'm just glad Wano is wrapping up. It was an arc with extreme highs and extreme lows. I have my critiques of it, but it was still a decent arc for what it was.
Now I await the eventual joining if Yamato, world implications, and lore drop.
