Kuma isn't joining, dude is being written as a death character. Bonney, I can see joining. Though, at this point of the story, I'd still prefer someone with strength(Yamato :neesama:)if anyone joins at all.

Thank you, I ended up taking an extended break from One Piece as wano burnt me out, but yeah, I think Bonney has some narrative energy to join. Just from the current backstory, I feel like Kuma's hopes and dreams he has about Nika that he shares with Bonney really do feel like a legitimate...

Honestly, I was under the impression that Jinbe would be the last, but(I'm not jumping to conclusion) it definitely seems Bonney could end up travelling with the strawhats.

NGl when Miura passed away, I cried like a baby. Berserk, just like One Piece is one of my all time favorites. I grew up reading them.

I wonder if Bonney is actually cured from her disease? Kuma's continued experimentation indicates to me that Bonney's treatment is temporary. If true, then Chopper can cure an incurable disease

I'm pretty much asking Oda to end Kuma's suffering and to do it quickly. Kuma is the only character I actually want to die, so Kudos for making this the most miserable flashback ever..

My biggest criticism of this is the Fact Bonney is 12 or 13 years old and Oda is using the age fruit to draw her in skimpy ways. I took a year off one piece for this? Lmao

I've read stories with the whole "product of rape" trope, which is regular. My issue or main criticism here is that Bonney is 12 or 13 and Oda is using the excuse of the age fruit to draw her very skimpy. I'm not a fan of that. I took a year off of one piece bc Wano really burnt me out, but boy...

Also, not only is Bonney a product of rape, she's also only 12 or 13 years old. So even if she ages up, it doesn't excuse the skimpy shots Oda has drawn her in either. :whitepress:
