CP0, Blackbeard, or she's simply undercover to take revenge on Kaido for the sake of someone that he killed on Wano.

I honestly think it'd be great if she's a spy. I have no concrete evidence to base this on, but it'd add an interesting dimension to the BP hierarchy. Also it gives Maria a better chance to stick around after Wano :smithnie:

We need a poll on whether Black Maria is a spy or not.

I'm not sure if she fits with the whole motif of BB's crew. That's why I think Aokiji is a double spy if he's indeed with BB. He doesn't fit. If she's a spy for the WG or CP0 tho :wonderland:

So, what do you guys think about Black Maria being possibly a spy or an undercover avenger? There are scenes that could definitely be interpreted as possibly hinting towards that in the latest chapter.

I wouldn't put too much stock into character heights' consistency. Artistic perspective to convey a specific dramatic beat trumps all of that. It's common in manga but even more common in One Piece. If they stuck to accurate character heights Luffy vs Katakuri would have been almost impossible...

Miss Doublefinger and Kalifa were villains till the end, dunno if I can't count smoothie and Galette as villains though. They haven't had much focus. But either way, it'll actually be refreshing to see Ulti and Black Maria fight with Kaido against the alliance until the end. Evil is sexy on them lol
