Blame Oda, as I said before I believe one of the main reason why Oda isn't focusing that much on this fight is because it's not a SH focused fight. Replace Kid and Law with Luffy, if this was a Luffy vs Big Mom chapter then a majority of the chapter would be focused on the fight.

I don't know how anyone can get hyped for Kid and Law vs Big Mom in this chapter. This was basically the fight: Big Mom beats down Kid and Law and almost defeats them Attacks Kid and Law's crew Tries to go to the roof Law attacks her Kid attacks her The End Oda could have done better.

Nothing against Kid but I want to see more impressive feats from him, it would be really cool if we could see him apply CoA to his metals or we see a CoC clash between him and Big Mom. I do think it is impressive that he's able to keep fighting despite all the damages he has taken.

Oda not showcasing Kid using CoC so far is a bit dumb, I still want to see a CoC clash between him and Big Mom.

The downplay on Big Mom during this chapter from some users is ridiculous. We even see in these panels that Big Mom beats down Kid and Law and almost defeats them. The only reason why they are not defeated for good is because of plot.
