Yes...I think it is possible and badly wanted to see...Luffy need not to go for new form or G5 until Kaido overwhelms him.....he just need to use everything in his arsenal right now to contain Kaido....also, given how Kaido switched forms in this chapter, I am expecting the same from Luffy...

Luffy fans wank Luffy but definitely not to the point that he is top 1 or top 2 with few exceptions like Sanjikun (he is more of doffy fan than Luffy), Mlzz, Adam-san...but mostly people putting Luffy above Kaido and C3 admirals are mostly from yonko or admiral fans...
