Just watched Everybody Wants Some!! for the first time, I’m not always a fan of Linklater’s navel gazing but this is a solid portrayal of (what I think) was the last period of American history before everything went absolutely insane. I’m also a sucker for stories about college baseball players...

This is, for reasons beyond my understanding, the only movie that’s ever truly scared the living shit out of me. The only time I ever slept with the lights on in my room was after watching it, and when my friends have suggested watching it at various parties and sleepovers, I always shot it down...

Have A Good Trip on Netflix - even if you’ve never tried psychedelics, this is a fascinating and entertaining in-depth account of what it’s like to trip balls. 9/10

300th post on this thread, so I’m also recommending the movie 300...endlessly quotable (I still scream THIS IS SPARTA at wildly inappropriate times), great fight scenes, and more man meat than you can shake a flaccid dick at. 8/10

Speed Racer, the one the Wachowskis made in 2008. So many people shit on this movie, but the plot is fun enough to stay plugged in, the acting is delightfully and intentionally camp, and it may have the most lavishly colorful visuals of any movie I’ve ever seen. 9/10, I will always defend this...

One of my favorite movies of all time, definitely my favorite Tarantino flick (which is no small feat considering)...maybe I’m just predisposed to enjoying a film about vigilante American Jews undermining the Third Reich and murdering actual Nazis in a graphic/visceral way :kayneshrug:

Trolls World Tour, not by my choice so much as my girlfriend’s...but it was pretty fun, visually pleasing, and the songs weren’t half bad. 8/10

Whoever mentioned Once Upon A Time in Hollywood...finally got around to watching it today, and it is really great, but I think Tarantino’s done much better work. 7.5 out of 10, Pitt and DiCaprio doing the heavy lifting saved it from a worse rating.
