No, it is not even close to that, If you don't see that Wano has zero tension, that doesn't mean that others should feel same way. In Ennies lobby there was tension of danger. While here is just ZERO pay off, like Crydo is just some guy, not the villain of story. And what about off-screened...

Cheap excuses. People who even started to watch/read One Piece nowadays enjoy first half of story, but hate other half. How it could be? Well because of quality of this story. It was thousend times better. If you already like shit smell and shit taste that doesn't mean that others has no taste...

I will say you this, One Piece wasn't translated to all languages, so for some people watching anime started from illegal viewer point. But thanks to those people manga later was translated officially on their language. Pay-off, is huge thanks to those illegal users of this content.
