Kaido's eyes turned white for the 50th time this arc. He's far from going down. He still needs to beat the crap out of Luffy first.
Luffy is currently slightly taking the lead, that can't happen as his fights are not built that way.
- Kaido will go all out and pummel Luffy
- Luffy pulls out...
After checking the panels i gotta say that Luffy's AP doesn't even look to be exceptionally impressive, it's rather his durability and endurance that impressed me.
Zoro's attacks are still stronger than that of Luffy but i don't think that Zoro can exchange and tank shots from Kaido like Luffy...
Cope. Remember that Akainu is Logia. Without CoA WB couldn't have touched Akainu.
So a Gura punch + CoA couldn't do lasting damage on Akainu.
WB couldn't use CoC though so i give you that
Never said that, you're getting desperate now huh. I'm sorry but I'm just stating facts. Counter with facts or accept it.
- Whitebeard sneaked Akainu = no lasting damage
- Akainu sneaked Whitebeard = hole in his body
The difference is clear.
The strongest paramecia falls short against the...
Lost half his face after a single punch but couldn't even break a single bone

Cope. In nearly all those fights one of the fighters was caught slipping and didn't die
No. There was far too few back and forth exchanges
Good point. Which leads us to another. How can you say that Luffy is disappointing as a fighter when you don't know whether other Top Tiers get caught slipping in a fight?
We have no way to know. In a fight between equals, you get hurt!
If he went to sleep he would've died as the sea was below him and the fall takes approximately 3 seconds.
WB after putting his life in those two shamelessly done sneak attacks couldn't even break Akainu's rips while Akainu turned him into a dead man walking with a single casual punch
:milaugh:
