Zoro cant surpass Oden because he has never been below him in the post-TS... Oden needed CoC to tame Enma, Zoro did it without CoC. Oden needed CoC to scar Kaido, Zoro did it without CoC. Oden clowned dragon form Kaido, Zoro clowned hybrid form Kaido. Oden didnt work for it, Zoro worked for it...

I dont think a scar will help him at all. Kaido is tough on the inside as he is tough on the outside, otherwise, Kidd's crushing would work. Punches deal damage to insides so a scar would make no difference to Luffy. He is already skipping the exterior, he doesnt need Zoro.

Why would Luffy need a scar from Zoro to attack Kaido? He is doing it just fine without Zoro's help, lol.
