Kingdom never disappoints, imagine keeping the same hype for 750+ chapters.

It is plot armor vs plot armor. Riboku has the thickest one (against being killed).

Riboku already killed 2 of Qin's great generals, directly or indirectly. He is not going to take down one more. But cant deny Kanki's plot armor.

Rightly said, and as a recent reader, that arc felt the weakest, but after that, the mangaka got his shit together and delivered. Heki is not physically great, but his passion and honesty are what got him his current position in the army.

I started reading Kingdom recently and completed it in 6-7 weeks. The pacing was great, but the Zhao invasion arc, where Yotanwa fought against Zhao's army and mountain tribe was dragged a lot. I don't know how weekly readers would have felt during that time. After that, things progressed at a...
