Okama fans are funny for real , Oda used the same kanji 並ぶ elsewhere, during Kuma’s flashbacks :
人質”ボニーの脱走はすぐに「世界政府」に伝わり“父を捜す漁船”はやがてルフィ達に並ぶ新世代の“海賊船”へと変貌してゆくーー
The whole translation is : The escape of hostage Bonney was quickly reported to the World Government, and the 'fishing boat searching for her father' transformed into a new-generation pirate ship that eventually comes to stand alongside / be equal to Luffy and his crew.
If Sanji fans interpret this sentence:
“Gaban, the left-hand man of the PK, stood alongside / is equal to the right-hand man Rayleigh” as meaning Rayleigh = Gaban in strength, then…
They should interpret this sentence the same way: the 'fishing boat searching for her father' transformed into a new-generation pirate ship that eventually comes to stand alongside / be equal to Luffy and his crew This means Bonney and her crew = Luffy and his crew in strength.
They should pick their poison:
The kanji used in the statement about Gaban and Rayleigh is the same one used between Bonney and her crew and Luffy’s crew. So if: Gaban is equal to Rayleigh in strength, then Bonney and her crew must also be equal in strength to Luffy and his crew.
