Another question for the defense: Are you familiar with the saying “there's a grain of truth in every joke”?

According to my source, Wikipedia, it is believed to mean that whenever a person is joking, they are actually disguising thoughts and emotions, either subconsciously or deliberately.

Are you worried at all that by reducing your clients online activities to mere “trolling” that you could be, even if unintentionally, depriving him of help, or perhaps even greater happiness?

Is this something the defense has even considered?

I would support the Defendant if he was interested in being a Furry. Clearly, he is not interested in such things, and, as a result, I chose to stand by him and clear his name.

I think that it's because, like myself, he has a somewhat twisted sense of humor, but you'd have to ask him yourself.

I have been made aware of this quote, and your grain of truth is, “Mr. Reloaded likes the Pokémon anime.” Besides, if Mr. Reloaded truly wanted to be a furry, I’d support him as a friend. We’ve talked with Mr. Reloaded and he seemed genuinely concerned that others think less of him or refuse to understand him because of some memes.

But that’s not why we’re here. We’re here because many jokes he made have been taken out of context and blown up causing him to be slandered. This is what we’re fighting against. We’re fighting so that everyone can feel safe making meme jokes on the internet like god intended.

But why furries in particular do you think? Aren’t there innumerable twisted things to joke about? You’ve obviously spent a lot of time with him as his legal counsel so I would expect you have some insight or perhaps at least a hypothesis on the matter.

Taking a minute to be serious, for once, if you ever see an animal lying still on the floor/ground, DO NOT approach it. A girl died from picking up a bat laying on the floor recently, and it was diagnosed as rabies too late. Rabies can be transmitted just through saliva, not necessarily a bite.

People rarely die from it, but this is why it's important to give wild animals their respect, and not approach them without thinking first. If you get bit by a wild animal, or accidentally come into contact one acting strange, wash your hands or the wound thoroughly, and contact a health official.

And why would Mr. Reloaded enjoy furry based humor so much? That’s a personal question only he can answer. But personally, I feel it’s likely because of his extensive time in the Nakama thread here. Furry jokes were a dime a dozen during the Carrot vs Yamato days.
