Sukuna just needs his hands. From what we've seen, cursed energy reinforcement takes very little CE as Sukuna's thrashes others in close combat even when he's low on cursed energy. Sukuna's not going to run out of CE if he just uses domain amplification and beats Jogo up, so the amount of fingers' is only really relevant if you think Sukuna needs more than hands. 1 finger Sukuna and 20 finger Sukuna have the exact same physicals and cursed energy reinforcement. 1F Sukuna doesn't even really mean he has low cursed energy reserves. 1 Finger from Sukuna turns curses into special grades, which implies 1 finger from Sukuna is, at the minimum, a grade 1 sorcerer's worth of energy.
