Oden could read poneglyphs, so if he explained in the journal how to do it, yamato may know too. There is also 3 eyes tribe, BB revealed to be interested in history research, law wants to find out what D. stands for. BB may have foudn Rox journal in beehive island.

Imo Oda switches from PK race to PK direct tournament. Luffy is in tournament mode from post-TS with vs Hody Jones, Doflamingo, and now Kaidou. Its too bad though since "race" means adventure, and "tournament" means just battles and more battles within country-involved war.
