I like the comparisons. The only issue I have is that if Luffy reaches Rox level he will be far above Roger. I'd say the only one capable of reaching Rox level should be BB. Luffy (Roger) + Coby (Garp) duo coming up.
It would fit what he declared as a child, to be willing to become the World's Strongest one day. It would perfectly fit a Ryuma parallel either if he achieved his original goal.
