Sakazuki also already did one shot him, since one of his attacks destroyed all of WB’s internal organs + one of his attacks destroyed half of WB’s brain. And either one of those things would have probably killed WB eventually no matter what.

Meanwhile, Sakazuki had 0 bandages after the war.

Mihawk did never admit to be inferior to Whitebeard, all he wished to do was testing his power against the man which might have stood highter or lower, and of course common sense for other matters that aren't directly related suggested the former.

If Shanks die, Luffy can still give the Straw Hat back at Shanks' grave to fulfill the promise.

I don't think Mihawk will at least die but when it comes to being defeated I guess Oda pinned quite the emphasis on Zoro to beat him one day he will not likely retract it if you asked me xd

Are you kidding? Even 1 Admiral is extremely high-diff for Mihawk. People really need to stop underestimating Admirals

Buggy will never get captured because that is far too easy to guess. Vegapunk's weapon needs a hypetool, now Hancock is the most obvious solution and i don't think Mihawk would ever lose to that but it needs to be hyped in some way. Buggy will always be around for comedy purposes.
