Really makes you wonder why Imu has picked Gunko to be his vessel.
Something is special about her. Possibly about her lineage. Which would imply Brook is special too.
Can not have too many special lineage people on the crew!

Instead of Gunko being a capable real arc villain by herself we get an Imu puppet teaser and another Brook sob story flashback.
Disappointing.

Could be something Gunko did after Brook set out to the sea becoming a pirate, like Bonney set out to the sea to find their Kuma then ended up getting caught by Imu.

Imu probably wanted vessels that he can control and the candidate has to be a female.

Bonney actually can ends up becoming Imu's vessel if she didn't set sail.

Yes, I agrre: I mean Loki as the main/final confrontation of Erbaf. It's also possible that the one with Imu turns out to be quantitatively bigger because of the people involved, but the clues for a Luffy vs Loki are too many and too concordant, and since I don't see a Luffy vs Loki possible while Imu is still around, only afterwards, as the last one, make sense.

Which would make sense both as Nika vs Nika and as a realisation of that foreshadowing about Loki having the perfect power to destroy Erbaf, with Adam on fire, etc...

There is probably going to be a fight, but the "woman problem" is too much imho. OK that Gunko/Imu can regen, but when was the last time we have seen Luffy really beat the shit out of a normal woman?
Oda tends to not do it, more so when the woman in question is not really evil, but some blameless victim. Sure, the regen can help, but still.

Not to mention, all the hints of Loki vs Luffy remain, from with the Nika vs Nika to this:



Loki having precisely this power screams of final countdown, imho.

I'm starting to agree with those who said Elbaf is like Zou.

Looks like the Holy Knights are going to withdraw back to Marijoa to fight so that means injured Gaban and possibly Brook is going to lore dump everyone about the Holy Knights weakness before they join the raid with Loki.

Now that Elbaf is in a lose lose situation anyway, Loki destroying everything seems like a better option. Might even be some weird prophecy thing where he knew something like this would happen what with his covered eyes and his dad apparently being a prophet.

Do you think Brook is her father? I'm kind of getting the vibe that he might have been like her Igaram.
