Her premotive for saying she wanna be Oden is cuz she wants to be free. You compare their interactions and behavior and they are not alike. Yamato acts more like Luffy naturally but with a sense of duty and responsibility. Oden is a reckless masculine meathead who Oda tries hard to make likable with everyone glazing him, while nobody glazes Yamato in story
