Controversial 5 Missed opportunities

I've been following one piece pretty much since the beginning and in that time there's been a lot of missed opportunities I personally think would of been cool to see from this or would of made a lot more sense than what we got

5- Chopper turning Human~ Chopper ate the human human fruit meaning he should be able to turn into a human right? Every other Zoan can fully turn into their animal fur and all but for some reason Chopper can't turn into a full human? Make it make sense only explanation is Chopper never learned how to fully transform and if that's the case should of learned that during the time skip instead of making monster point lame

4. Luffy should get his princess- Luffy expressed many times he wanted a princess on the crew and everytime he gets screwed, Vivi- had to look out for her country, Rebecca- Sabo stole her fruit and she wanted to be with her dad, Shirahoshi to damn big, Yamato- Ooh I'll join ah never mind i wanna explore a place i lived all my life and could of explored at any time give luffy his princess damn it!

3. Flame Princess- speaking of Sabo stealing Rebecca's fruit who does he think he is swooping in and just taking it, Rebecca is by far the one of the strongest fodder in the verse and her great observation haki combined with the Mera Mera no mi + her fighting style would of made her at least capable of fighting people like Monet(hell with Mera Mera she'd beat Monet)

2. Gorosei introduced to fast- I think it was a bad idea to show case all the gorosei at once it made them look less powerful and menacing since all in all for the most part they didn't accomplish much on Elbaf when they arrived, there mission was 1. Kill Vegapunk (main buddy was dead before the calvary even arrived, and as for all the others York "Killed" most of them and Atlas blew herself up plus they didn't even stay dead so they made that aspect of the mission entirely pointless, and then the final purpose was to protect York and Secure the lab for the mother flame- Saturn could of just let the strawhats escape and gotten the same results (probably still would of gotten fired literally and figuratively ) and then each arc we could of had the gorosei the main antagonist

1. Momonosuke should of had Conquerors- remember when Kaido had Momo yoked up and told him to say his name, that would of been the perfect opportunity for him to unlock Conquerors Haki his father was a Conquerors, and can't say he was to young Ace unlocked it as a kid fighting against blue jam, doffy unlocked it as a kid while being tortured, and Yamato unlocked randomly on some steps the narrator said he'll become one of the greatest most powerful leaders wano ever had but him show casing Conquerors wasn't in the cards?

And there we go my top 5 most missed opportunities

5. Chopper only accepted being a monster during the time-skip for the sake of Luffy, and while Hiluluk helped him become a doctor, nobody yet has treated him like a "human", so Chopper still doesn't see himself as one. Maybe that's what'll lead to his awakening the DF: accepting himself both as what he was--an animal--and what he became involuntarily by eating that mushroom--a human--and, to boot, what being aware of both those sides of him makes him--something more than an animal, more than a human, and in part even more than a Mink. Once he realizes he's the amalgam of all of these, he'll transcend the Hito Hito.

4. Vivi is joining.

3. That's your personal preference. IMO, I think the list of people who wants to see cry-baby Rebecca with the Mera Mera doesn't exceed ten names. That one is too important a DF to leave in the hands of a nobody who'll only get a couple of panels at most during the Final War. The way I see it, Ace's fruit should've either: (1) been kept under locks by Luffy, so that nobody can tarnish his brother's legacy; or (2) should've gone to an antagonist, maybe even one of the next gen Admirals.

2. Yeah, the pacing with which the Gorosei finally joined the fray, revealed their hidden forms, were incapacitated, were punished, and their structure was changed with Saturn's replacement was a bit breakneck-y. Then again, we are 1000+ chapters in, so better now than later, since Oda hasn't been able to implement them slowly through the post time-skip. Also, having shown what the Gorosei are about allows Oda to focus more on IMU next, without having to reveal six hidden forms all at once, to the detriment of their boss.

1. Momo didn't deserve CoC until about the moment he decided to stand up to Kaido and bite him as a dragon, but by then him having become an adult and having gained more control over the DF were more important for the story, then focusing on haki, so it'd be too crammed to also shove another change/power-up in. There's plenty of time for Momo to have his shining moment with CoC, especially if the BBPs invade Wano.

5. Fair point hope he transcends soon if it's cool I might take him off my shit list

4. And leave Alabasta without a queen?

3. Fair enough perhaps I'm bias cause she's my 3rd favorite character

2. I just think it would of been more interesting for each of them to ve their own arc boss Saturn on egghead, Venus on Elbaf etc etc until we made it to the final arc and fought imu and the holy Knights

1. No matter when he gets it song long as he gets it ill be satisfied

4. She'll always be Alabasta's queen, even if she isn't present in the country. Ingram & Co. will rule in her stead. Plus, come the flood, she'll guide her people remotely via VP's worldwide broadcast as a Strawhat, thus also giving Luffy more credibility over the WG in the eyes of the Alabasta normies.

2. I agree with you, having mini-arcs with a Gorosei acting each time as a mini-boss, and culminating with IMU's arc and big boss phase would've been better. I'd have taken Venus in incognito on Wano dealing with Orochi in CP0's place over what we got, but alas.

Dawg Rebecca with any fruit would be ass and like that guy said above probably like 10 people wants that

with the gorosei I believe they should’ve been handled better because it’s been like 20+ years and we just seen the gorosei so better > later

~ I also don’t want Vivi to join she’s too weak and whines super hard

🤧 10? I'm probably the only one who wants flamebecca

Yamato was realistically the best option to fulfill the princess card and I think she still will, just wish it was immediate after wano and she didn't go on a random side quest
