Why is that? It always baffled me why those who aren’t native English speakers have a difficult time reading and comprehending the contents they consume. Like, it’s as if they aren’t paying attention to certain details and events or flat out forget about them and have to be reminded.
Does learning English and speaking it next to fluency makes you smarter? Like was there any research done regarding this?
