A scene dedicated to the dark continent ?

I think Kurapika HAS to be the main character for the Succession War because it’s almost 100% connected to him. Tserriednich is a major player and he has the remaining Kurta eyes, Kurapika is the bodyguard of Prince Woble and the biggest thing... The Phantom Troupe are on the ship as we speak

There’s no way Leorio could have a major role in an arc like this one

Personally I just don’t see how Togashi brings both of them back in time for them to make it to the DC. I think Killua will go maybe to find out more about Nanika/Alluka but I can’t really figure out what he plans to do with Gon

If there really is a New Continent arc then I think that’ll be more of a training arc for Leorio than anything. All speculation tho
Im assuming their will be a “New Continent arc” since the New Continent is where the Black Whale is going. I dont see them landing in the New Continent and then straight away panning to the Hunters going to the Dark Continent. New Continent Arc for now can just be major set-up for Dark Continent arc. The Dark Continent in general is dangerous af…..so yh having a timeskip within the New Continent would be great.

Yh Killua has a reason to go to the Dark Continent…since Nanika is confirmed to be an AI from there. Killua loves Nanika very dearly as well. So yh something could lead him to go. And yh I just dont see Killua in the plot without Gon being with him. Gon is obviously too weak to go….thats why a 3-4 year timeskip would be great for him in training. Gon after finding his dad…has basically the same character arc as Killua. Which is finding something he wants to do. Togashi obviously bring him back and then we can see Gon discovering what he wants.

Anyways I think the “New Continent Arc” will be beneficial to end all the Hisoka/Spiders/Kurapika business once and for all. Thats of course assuming it doesnt end within the Black Whale. No way this this plotline carries on into the Dark Continent.

Would they not hit the DC within 3-4 years though? I’m forgetting the timeline/planned trip tbh

And yeah the Phantom Troupe stuff has no place in the DC where it’s meant to be 100% about survival. Iirc their goal is to steal the treasure on the ship and dip (which will backfire due to the curse?) + kill Hisoka so yeah that should be over before we get there

If there’s a time skip then I can see Gon coming back

3-4 years isn’t bad I thought you were talking about a couple months

I actually can’t imagine Togashi aging Gon and Killua up

It would feel so weird to me... I feel like HxH is gonna be one of those series where the kids get older but look exactly the same for some reason

Think Pokémon (Ash) and Dragon Ball (Goten and Trunks)

That would be fuckin sick though... 18 year old Killua may even be leading the Zoldyck family by that point

Let’s say Gon gets his nen back. Will his nen type even be the same? Iirc it was said that your nen type could change at some point in your life though I can’t remember if it could only change to specialist or not

Yh Id see Gon as a Specialist. He is the MC afterall….basic Shonen logic to make him one of the most unique. Itll still probably like a Janken like Hatsu….but different look and technique.

All I need from the New Continent arc is confirmation for my cope that Netero didn't take Ging and Pariston to raid Chimera Ants because they would try to use the situations for their own benefits instead of defeating the threat.

I will have to revisit HxH chapters soon to refresh my memory but because of few scenes, I started to cope that Ging and Pariston would defeat Royal Guards ( one each ) but their motives were what Netero feared the most.

+ Didn't Netero/Togashi himself in some interview/side note basically confirmed that Ging and Pariston were above any Zodiacs?

@Chrono

Ps. I still believe that the Raid was planned perfectly by Netero but not in terms of power/getting Ants defeated.

Imho.

Ging and Pariston take one guard out each.

Zeno and Silva take the last one and they could just all join Netero to gang up on Mereum. Even with his speed of learning, he would not be able to handle this much experience from the enemy team.

Netero said ging was top 5 in nen use in the world iirc. And from what we have seen so far, he seems to be able to learn and adapt very quickly.
So I could see him defeating 1 of the Royal guards.

So Togashi is giving us spoilers? Lol.

This dude doesn't really care much about many things. He is a genius.

I also wonder, if he had to re read his own manga after so many years of not writing, I mean, I used to know everything about Naruto and since I haven't seen it for a long time, I pretty much forgot a lot of things. I will have to read all the manga to remember the details.
