After YEARS of slander towards the chadmirals calling them devil fruit merchants, hakiless bums, etc, what have we learned about our beloved Yonko, Kaido of the Hundred Hostages Beasts from the Rocks flashback?

HE IS THE BIGGEST DEVIL FRUIT MERCHANT IN THE SERIES

— many fans including myself decided to withhold judgment on his character until the inevitable Rocks/GV flashback. Surely there was more to this retarded drunk lizard than this? Surely Oda didn’t build this clown up for 10 years for this?

Well here we are in the God Valley flashback, and thankfully Oda gave us more about Kaido. He has complained/asked/desired a fruit in 3 out of his 4 flashback his appearance.

Let me repeat that. He wanted a devil fruit. That is his flashback persona.

Mr. “Haki Is Everything” spent 10 years FIENDING for a fruit. That’s his ENTIRE FUCKING CHARACTER.

still has shown superior haki and feats than any lassmiral thats been shown...

lol you've been saying this every time we've sen an admiral on screen.

but sure haki coated named attack from Aokiji wasnt all out, Lyokuga trying to force Momo & Co to bring them Luffy then getting negged by Shanks wasnt going all out. Akainu getting ragdolled by 1hp WB wasnt going all out either was it....

the only case this can be made is for Lizaru v Luffy even though he did a piss poor job by getting turned into a condom and ko'd for 10minutes then flattened into a pancake and out for the remainder of Egghead but sure...

Also Kaido: “Linlin and I are going to find ancient weapons and the one piece before fighting the government”

Kaido’s captain: “I need two specific legendary devil fruits to take down the government”

Either Kaido is full of shit or he really believes it and knows deep down that his own Haki sucks
