Powers & Abilities A Zoans “strongest” form.

#1
I keep seeing too many comedians say that a zoan in hybrid form is them at their “strongest.

NO it’s not. Did you drop out of the 5th grade or something? Since when was 50% dragon more powerful than 100% dragon?? You should be embarrassed to even speak after saying that.

Say it with me now: Zoans are at their most “DANGEROUS” in hybrid because they can use technical skills that they can’t as a full animal with the added benefit of being more maneuverable and flat out faster depending on the user/fruit

People actually say that Kaido and other Zoans are physically at their best in hybrid and that it’s their most powerful for combat. Well for starters it is entirely subjective to the fighter. Someone like Orochi would not benefit at all from hybrid because he has nothing to offer at base anyways unlike martial arts genius Rob Lucci who would favor hybrid to use his skills.

EVERY Zoan is more durable and physically strongest when completely transformed and that’s just a fact. If they are mythical their abilities are at their best when completely transformed. Kaido can’t fire off blast breathes as large and intense as this in hybrid:

Nor can hybrid fly or use some of his other divine abilities.

Likewise dragon Kaido can’t use his club, perform Thunder Bagua, fight H2H, 1v1 effectively, move as fast, or showcase skill at all.

Hybrids are good for the best of both worlds. If you’re a swordsman obviously you will fight using hybird as your greatest asset since you now can fight like a man and a beast. Literally every hybrid only goes hybrid to use a weapon or skill, stop being dumb.

Full transformations are good for being a complete physical beast that can power through punishment and have peak performance of any special abilities they might have that would be halved if they were hybrid.

It's really simple:
- fodder+big animal (>~Elephant/Giraffe..) -> full zoan strongest (hybrid can't boost, where's nothing to boost) -> Child Drake, Orochi...
Otherwise (<Elephant/Giraffe) the hybrid form actually even starts to outgrow-/weigh the zoan form.
- up to approx low mid tier + ancient Dino fruit -> full zoan strongest
- up to approx mid/high high tier + Sengoku's or Kaido's fruit -> full zoan strongest
fodder removal with ancient Dino fruits or Sengoku's/Kaido's fruit -> full zoan the best

Otherwise the hybrid form will always take the cake = the actual rule.
All the above = the actual very few and at times plain irrelevant (fodder examples) exceptions.
If not for absolute trash tier fighters, you can only make a case for the Dinosaur ancient Zoans and those 2 mythical Zoans allthough with certain limitations. Which in sum affect like 9 fruits out of all Zoans. And if the user is any good, you are pretty much left with just 2- Kaido's and Sengoku's fruits.

Both forms have their pros and cons like you said and it depends on the fruit.

Full Zoan Kaido = hundreds of meters
Full Zoan Lucci = a normal leopard

Full Zoan Lucci is obviously crap while his hybrid is larger and obviously stronger and more durable as well.

Full Zoan Kaido is the most durable form, but has crappy mobility and can't use efficiently his physical strength unlike his hybrid.

Full Zoan Queen is the most durable and his headbutt probably is his strongest physical move since it is his largest form (but his kicks and punches probably suck because of his morphology) where he can use his entire body on it. Same with King (unless his hybrid is even bigger). While hybrid in their cases would be better for CQC fights since King in full zoan needs enough space for achieving great momentum or reach greater speed and Queen in full zoan can only fight with his neck since he can barely move.

Conclusion, it depends on (their opponents and their combat style, the strong points of their opponents, the scenario, etc.).
