the avatar state and one for all work almost the same way. For Aang, everything his past lives have learned, he also knows, when he is in avatar state.
the only difference is that one for all has only been through 9 people whereas aang has lived through thousands of lives.
we know for a fact he isn't a metal bender because it was stated that Korra was the first avatar to know metalbending. Metal bending was never learned by previous avatars because it was kinda useless up until the fire nation started using metal tanks and weapons(which happened while aang was trapped in the iceberg).
he might know blood bending, however, as he was able to counter Yakone's bloodbending.
One advanced bending we know he 100% has is lava bending, as we have seen both Kyoshi and Roku use it.
Overall, the only people who even could be stronger than avatar state aang would be all might, one for all, Shigaraki, and prime deku.
