Generally, hype of the Yonko crew has fallen.
I don't know how they ruled for all these years. Gorosei probably didn't give a fuck about such clowns.
The only not trolled Yonko is WB and Shanks as of now.
BM got clowned by half of the straw hats
Kaido gets heart attacks whenever someone brings up Oden but sees death as completion, flip flop.
His Calamities are a joke, F6>Calamities idgaf.
We have yet to see King/Queen fight for real. So I don't understand why people say they are weak. It's not like Marco is beating them up either, he's just buying time. Same goes for Smoothie, who we haven't seen in action yet.
The YC title implies a reputation and power within OP only inferior to the Yonko, Admirals or WSS. So we should not underestimate them.

Not when fighting main enemies. Look at how competent Kata was to prevent the wedding from sabotage, King is just clowning around.

I think all that matters is what King accomplishes at his best. Marco handling both King and Queen ain't a good look for King but if he shows what he's capable of in a 1v1 against someone that isn't Marco or even against Marco,m then he can make up for any lost hyped. Atleast that's how I see it. There's still time left in the arc for King to show his abilities.

He gathered the forces and Tobi Roppo on one call despite all the jokes that Tobi Roppo makes fun of Calamities. They listened like well-trained dogs.
He has the presence of the RHM.
The problem is his fighting ability. Aside from trashing Sanji, he did nothing from that point onwards.
King became a victim of Marco's redemption side plot. I think Oda saw how bad was his portrayal in the pre-time skip and he decided to redeem Marco as the RHM of the previous Yonko and unfortunately, King became the prey of this redemption story...
I still hope King will have some moments but it looks worse from chapter to chapter.
If he doesn't take out Marco in 1 vs 1 he is a waste of YC1.
