I mean, Shepherd family hype is okay with me, but what is any of this based on? We have no indication that this guy was at God Valley nor that he was Garling’s number 2, he also wasn’t chosen as the new Holy Knight captain when Garling was promoted.

I have no issue with Sommer upplay but there doesn’t seem to be much evidence for this.

His stripes speak for themselves. He doesn't need a badass intro because he has those lol. Rayleigh/Garp don't need that either. Remember,God valley wasn't the only hunting game,just the one that was attacked. Sure he didn't become captain,do you think Garland would want to put someone other then his own son in?
