I admit I stil would have loved to see more important flashbacks. Maybe removing some Toko, Tama etc stuff and insert that. That would of been optimal.
The excessive length of the arc was mainly due to the many unnecessary characters who have no use for the plot at all. Denjiro is the best example. Every single panel with him can today be called a waste. Yamato should have been the person Luffy meets when he arrives on Wano. Tama shouldn't even exist. Then many fans would have been happier with Yamato's introduction. But I would have been satisfied if certain Straw Hats hadn't been demoted to supporting characters. That's the problem with too many characters. If Nekomamushi, Inuarashi, and Raizo get one-on-one fights, even if the fights weren't good, but not Usopp, Nami, Chopper and Brook, even though there were suitable opponents, then something is going terribly wrong.

I wish my boy Toriyama also didn't offpanel Jack's fight. That felt kinda dirty to me.
