Hyping lunarians is different from hyping up a individual characters power one is acknowledging a particular advantage rather than an individual's strength. For example when they hyped Katakuri they hyped him as a individual specifically not his fruit or something else. Most people who know about lunarians will acknowledge king's advantage over fighting normal humans just like how Whitebeard was hyping lunarians to marco despite being stronger then them.

I bring up Katakuri because it shows how king is not seen in the same light. Katakuri acknowledged as the strongest by all. Hyped as an individual. Bounty is near no one. I dont see how BMP having a different structure than beast pirates matters. If Katakuri was younger would they be unwilling to acknowledge him as the strongest? What changes if he did not have seniority?

The problem with the hierarchy argument is King's placement does not give him special authority over Queen nor is he viewed by the rest of BP as a higher authority which is why you need to use vivre card as an argument because in story King is never potrayed as having a superior position. The beast pirates were capable of challenging King for his position along with the other allstars.

In terms of strength. King and queen are never differentiated by anyone who has fought them. Marco never points out king is superior nor does greenbull. Best case scenario for King is that he is slightly stronger than Queen extreme diff multiple day fight.

I seriously don't get why this is such an issue, Queen hyped King (his rival) to Sanji, it does not matter by which attribute he chose to hype him, he still did. If Zoro hypes Sanji by calling him Germa then he is still hyping Sanji, in the context of a 1v1 fight. Doesn't matter if the attribute is genetic or acquired or trained, it is still an attribute of that individual.

One crew is a family, the other is a combination of individuals who are always looking to gain a higher rank and have little respect for anyone besides Kaido. Why do King and Katakuri have to be seen in the same light? They are operating in different cultures entirely. I may be wrong but I can't remember any semblance of internal competition in BMPs like we saw in the Beast Pirates. Just to give an example King is allowed to issue orders while using Kaido's name without prior approval from Kaido, just imagine that. He is the one giving instructions to kill off Momo and Scabbards while Kaido is at rooftop and Queen is playing his stupid plague game.

Why is King called King, instead of Alber? Why do we have Queen and Jack after King? Why is the Beast Pirates crew so heavily card themed? If the author has to go any simpler than this to explain ranking in an organization then I would say he should use 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C because that seems to the mental capacity of the audience.

Is 17 year Luffy equal to 19 year Luffy? Is 40 year Rayleigh equal to 79 year Rayleigh? Age matters.

If you want to power scale between King and Queen, that is a different debate and I would say at worst King high diffs Queen and at best mid diffs Queen.

Eldest sons are often the acting leaders of the siblings, so it makes no difference whatsoever. The fact that Jack reports to King and Queen while King scolds Queen for not doing things properly in Udon, which is under Queen's jurisdiction, proves there is a hierarchy among the All-Stars too.

I'll never stop translating, it's in my blood. But translation is not like math, there isn't always a word that matches exactly the one you wish to translate. That's why different translators get different results. It's ok to question a translation, but if two translators translate the same, then there is less doubt that this was the correct meaning.

It is his concern, just like when a father tasks his sons he expects them to work it out themseleves, King is still the “eldest son” between the three and holds most responsibility, naturally when in a position of respect you try your hardest to keep it, and an elder brother does that by lecturing his lil bros.

King can scold whomever he wants but that never translates to authority, especially since Queen casually mocks him back. Jack being the youngest addressed both after his shortcomings not the leader because there isn’t actually any.
Kaido certainly trusts King the most as King is more capable and disciplined, but he still lumped him in with the all stars. If there was an official title it would have been mentioned in the manga, or maybe a different structure where King is the RHM/ vice captain and there’s an additional all star.
