WorstGen don’t know how to analyse the story. Ace dying is not meant to be just a feeling of absolute hopelessness for Luffy but for the entire world.

Ace was supposed to be the man that Whitebeard thought would bring the dawn. He put his faith in him.

I agree on the Sabo part though but we just have to accept that Oda doesn’t want this to be a tragic sad story in anyway

I disagree. I feel like the whole "Can I be loved" character arc wouldve been even better if he survived and saw the lengths people went to save and protect him.

Ace dying was just a waste. Hes probably one of the best chracters in the manga's history. And he got replaced with a even worse version of himself. Sabo is basically Ace with no actual life in him. Hes also less charismatic as well.

Ace death is fine. Ace dying just to be replaced by a guy called Sabo who out of nowhere turns out to be another Luffy's brother was and always will be the most ass move from Oda.

My choice here is: Ace dies and Sabo never exists

Maybe he should've taking a leaf out of his "daddy's" book (when he chose not to fight Kaido) and not fought Akainu.
Hates and denies any relations he has with Roger but chooses to act like him....Doughnut couldn't back it up though lol

I wonder if he would have become PK before Luffy in case he didn't die but I imagine he would probably not have had enough fire power at his disposal to achieve the goal 🧐
