These are the natural side effects of letting Kaido and Big Mom thoroughly fuck the story with 430+ chapters of wasted buildup on two generic clowns, they're the ones who were active for the entire post timeskip narrative when Teach and Shanks were left untouched for 10+ years.

It's no coincidence that the series is going downhill despite being on one of what's supposed to be its biggest story arcs to date yet. At this point even Oda realizes that One Piece will sell more copies the sooner he kills off Kaido and Big Mom lol.
