The admirals having strong devil fruits doesn't stop them from getting advanced forms of haki
The admirals like most top tiers are more than just their devil fruit. Theyre gonna have amazing haki too

Yes they can all likely use barrier armament even the new ones but i think unlike the rest akainu might know penetration armament

Penetrate armament seemingly being kinda rare while marigold can have barrier armament

A 50+ year old guy in the opverse did not unlock coating from fighting aokiji, he would already have it

Like

1. Akainu: penetration armament
2. Aokiji: future sight
3. Fujitora: island level observation
4. Ryokugyu: armament that make a black blade

If it ends up being the case i still wonder what kinda haki kizaru will have

Tbf barrier armament isn't that that uncommon but yeah you're right

The notion that having a strong fruit means you cant have advanced haki never made sense

I always thought he was a Observation Haki guy as well, after all Fuji replaced him while Ryo replaced Akainu ideology wise.

Along with focusing on the opposite haki like the original they even have opposite ideologies and fruits kinda. Fuji's fruit pushing down on earth while ryo's fruit allows him to pull things from it


I still don't know about kizaru tho haki wise. If he doesn't focus on it much he's either just the weakest or the only awakened logia to even it out
