Character Discussion Admirals are more interesting than Yonkous??

Admirals are essentially Generals, just military leaders and not much more
Yonko are emperors, they have territories that are shaped by their ideals and personalities, the people under them are defined by how the emperor rule the territory and how he lead them, emperors also have goals that they themselves choose, admirals mostly just follow the Law
fo example a character like Katakuri won't work without totland being the way it is, Katakuri character won't work without BM, and every BM pirate for that matter, this is leagues ahead of any admiral , to basically have a personality that shape an entire world with unique characters and unique culture
Admirals aren't on the same league as the Yonko in term of importance and they shouldn't even be compared to them
but of course there will always be some people who confuse cool designs and attitude with complexity and deepness of a character

If I were to compare them to other characters in terms of being interesting, I would compare them to Jack and Queen.
Jack has a great design especially with his base form. Decent personality. Decent DF, Race and no backstory. While Queen has decent or less than decent design, he has more interesting DF and arsenals, he also has a backstory with MADS.
With Admirals, most of their DFs are logia. Example, Akainu's DF is Magma and that's it. I don't expect him to do anything much from that. While Big Mom's DF is more versatile. Taking Souls, Creating Homies, Bigger Mom and Healing. I would be more curious at how her DF awakening works while logias would probably have similar awakenings. Kaido has an interesting Race if only Oda delve to it more and decent backstory( his history with Rox). WB and Shanks has decent backstory. I'm not even gonna include BB, Luffy and especially God Buggy.

I don't think that some of them are even comparable now tbh.

Every single Admiral still to be explored, we don't know in depht their backstories, their own justice and maybe not even their personalities in depht.
I'm not gonna lie, until now, Big Mom is the most poor written top tier character ever, the way that at the same time that she seems OP, she also seems very pathetic, considering that she got humiliated in so many ways by not so powerful characters, is so annoying.
The exact same thing can happen to the Admirals, that are so much more hyped than some Yonkous.
tbh the Broccoli Charlos is pretty much this case, he looked pathetic af with the Blast Breath + Shanks.
