Hard to imagine even a ferocious beast like a hippo winning against the armored tank that is a rhino. Other than being pretty stupid and having poor vision, rhinos are semi invulnerable lmfao. A hippo could probably give a rhino a great fight but I don’t see a rhino losing a fight to the death.

Hard to imagine even a ferocious beast like a hippo winning against the armored tank that is a rhino. Other than being pretty stupid and having poor vision, rhinos are semi invulnerable lmfao. A hippo could probably give a rhino a great fight but I don’t see a rhino losing a fight to the death.

Yeah I know the issue is Rhinos are cowardly because of their poor vision lol, so this might give the Hippo a shot at maybe charging it from the side and getting to its belly or something.

Still think Rhino wins though one stab is all it takes lol.

I don't think the vision matters here. It's too fast and too bulky for a hippo (which is fat as fuck btw) to just evade all of it's charges lol. And I think if it gets even just one good stab in, it's wraps for that hippo. Plus iirc rhinos are slightly more durable than hippos, since rhinos have tough armor like skin while a hippo is mostly blubbery. Think Kaido vs Big Mom. It's like that.

Weight wise, the hippo has a laughably huge advantage. A cursory google search puts the heaviest on average for black rhinos is around 3,100 lbs.

Male hippos range from 3,500 to 9,100 lbs, with the same cursory glance.
