at the beginning of the fight, when netero tried second hand against meruem and meruem swattet away that like it was toddlers touch as narrator said, netero shat his pants and had to double the distance between himself and meruem to not get hurt
What was Neteros BIQ and Speed going to do if meruem wanted to kill him? There is simply nothing he can do

I think it was political decision cause they wanted to blame the hunters for the mess at the end + netero waited for that fight his entire life

Again he was nerfed. And their was only one move he couldnt react to....going with the nerfed speed/momentum he was going at.

Gon is actually durable....he just didnt have his ten/ren/ken activated because he thought Pitou died. His body can handle the Jankens that can devestate Pitou and his severed arm is tough enough to pierce a Royal Guard.

Again Adult Gon speed blitzes Netero. Same thing Mereum wouldve done if he wasnt nerfed. No need for iq.

Oh yeah… I think this was the main reason.
They lost the best hunter in the world for basically a threat they can easily resolve. Kind of a waste and stupid decision by Netero but this is shounen I guess.

None of this changes the fact that Meruem with all of his speed and going at his max speed, couldn't do anything about Netero's attack speed, and had to rely on Gungi to get through to him. Whether he was trying to kill him or not doesn't change his inability to even get to Netero, that's a fact. The difference between him wanting to kill Netero would be he goes for his head instead of his arm or leg in that scenario. But he was going full throttle going for his limbs, Gungi/BIQ was the key here. Meruem ate thousands of attacks before breaking through.

How would they lure them ? The Ants were chilling in East Gorteu. If they try to nuke them.... Pitou would probably stop any plane from flying above them. They had to bring a nuke inside....and the only way is with people strong enough.

How would they lure them ? The Ants were chilling in East Gorteu. If they try to nuke them.... Pitou would probably stop any plane from flying above them. They had to bring a nuke inside....and the only way is with people strong enough.

The fuck you mean? They can easily bombard them with dozens of those nukes, just one was enough to kill the royal guards and Meruem from the poison. Good luck intercepting that, it’ll still detonate.

Plus, those were cheap and easily manufacturable bombs, they got thousands of those and stronger nukes at their disposal. The ants were never a threat to the entirety of humanity if they decide to eliminate them through any means possible. Netero didn’t have to die in a 1v1.

Gon is faster than Netero given that he blitzed Pitou who could react to Netero's hand movements, and Gon hits laughably harder, he would likely one shot Netero.

I'm not even sure that Netero could actually seriously harm Gon with anything less than Zero Hand, Gon is the much stronger Enhancer and that makes a huge difference when it comes to durability.
