Powers & Abilities Advanced CoC has drawbacks

#1
One thing I've noticed about advanced CoC is that despite many characters having it, we've seldom seen them use it. I mean shanks OBVIOUSLY has it and he never used it against whitebeard, who we know has it.

Whitebeard never used it in marineford, big mom never used it in whole cake island, and while kaido does have it, he only uses it in special attacks(ex. thunder bagua and ragnaraku). Kaido mainly uses advanced CoC as a finishing attack, not as a casual tool.

So what if advanced CoC has some sort of timelimit or drains haki faster than CoA or CoO? This would logically explain these discrepancies, and it would prevent advanced CoC from becoming an overpowered ability. It also explains why Luffy lost against kaido despite seemingly being on his level the last time we saw them. Luffy lost because he relies on his advanced haoshoku too much. Without it, he isn't on kaido's level.

Also, if asura is an advanced CoC technique, then this would also make sense. As zoro can seemingly only use asura for a short period of time and he only brings it out at the very end to finish a fight, quite similar to thunder bagua which is one of kaido's finishers.

It might be particularly haki consuming, at least if not mastered properly, who knows. Luffy will probably need to fiercefully rely on it to strike down Teach, eventually he will manage to get used with it better.

Let's not try to use this as cope for Luffy getting knocked out until proven.
Will say this, Luffy has the same knock out face as the previous and those times he didn't lose haki. It is highly unlikely that he lost haki in this case because he hasn't shrunk, no wind in mouth.

having coc doesnt mean shit it gives him better attack power and that s it it doesnt change the fact that kaido si more durable faster and insane strenght
Kaido can take 100000000 coc punches from luffy
Luffy cant even take one attack

in wano we got introduced to the term of unnecessary haki meaning haki in other parts of the body that do not need it, and the "concept of flow" or what people call "ryou" makes a better usage of that unnecessary haki by enabling the user to flow it into his fist/weapon

that means that advanced CoC doesn't waste haki, it's just make use of haki that's gonna be wasted anyway

so far ther's only two gimmicks that consumes haki at a very high rate
1- gear 4: demands large amounts of CoA to multiply luffy's strength

2- enma: without mastery or restrain, it can draw out all of the user's haki in a single slash, allowing for a more devastating cut
