Powers & Abilities Advanced CoC sucks...

The more i think about it, the more i figure out how much it sucks because it basically invalidates a shit-ton of great characters who don't have CoC. We're basically facing the Naruto dilemma now of "you're either born with broken abilities and haxx or you can jump off a cliff and stop trying you pathetic untalented loser"



What about the Admirals? Revolutionaries - aside from Dragon? Random characters like Coby who aspire to be top-tier? Should they all just give up because no matter what they do characters like Luffy can casually one shot them with Advanced CoC? Or should they all get CoC themselves until the power-creep destroys the entire story

Yeah, we've been in the naruto dilemma for quite some time now

The thing is tho, most characters who don't have CoC were never supposed to compete with Luffy in the first place. The admirals will probably be defeated by side characters(Zoro, sanji, sabo, ect.) while Luffy takes on Akainu.

The revo commanders outright were just supposed to be tobi roppo-commander tier characters.

And as for Coby. He aspires to be an admiral, which is the same position Sengoku had in the roger era. Given how Sengoku has CoC, I'm willing to bet Coby will get it as well.

Garp doesn't have CoC as far as we know and he was able to match Roger, Whitebeard and Sengoku, all CoC users.

Admirals with extremely powerful logias, awakening and Advanced Armament (They already showed barrier haki in Marineford) and Advanced Observation (Aokiji and Akainu hinted at using Future Sight during Marineford) can very well keep up with the Yonkos.

Haoshoku is indeed Ability that elevates Chosen Few, however you can't say "Untalented"
Having a Tailed Beast put inside you or inheriting your Family's Eyes are indeed things that has nothing to do with Talent, granting you an Easy Advantage over most others. But CoC is given to only those with Great Potential/Willpower, imo they are Really Powerful & Talented, so such Potential manifest into CoC

In other words, CoC Users aren't Strong because they have CoC
They have CoC because they are Strong, this is more Accurate, or at least have Potential to reach that Highest Level

Also there is clearly different Paths to Power, CoC is pinnacle of Living Beings Power/Potential
But there are other Tools they can acquire to gain Massive Power Boost, such as Devil Fruits, Swords/Weapons & Science

If CoC didn't exist, then Most Scientifically Advanced Armies, Races & DF Users would Rule
CoC gives Humans Ability to face these things & be Relevant in this Power Struggle, not ruin Power Creep

Well he doesn't have it until he is confirmed to have it in the story. That's how it works right?

Yamato can infuse Haoshoku as well. I still don't think she stands a chance against any admiral.

What i meant by talent is any shit you were given at birth just because you're one of the "chosen ones"

Also i'm sorry, but your analogy doesn't make any sense. It's like saying "you aren't making scientific advancements because you're smart, but you're smart because you're making scientific advancements". No matter how strong you become, you will still never have CoC. Being born strong, also doesn't make CoC any less bullshit since it's still a thing you were given for being born


Also, almost all of CoC users are dicks and don't care about fighting shit except for their personal gain. I fail to see how CoC is beneficial for humanity or is actually good for power-creep

I don't think advanced CoC is shit. Just because you were born with conquerors, doesn't mean you will be a conqueror. Chinjao lost his will greatly after fighting Garp, I don't see him ever coating attacks. The top top tiers exist because of this ability, but they still had to work their asses off to get there. Yamato didn't really stand a chance against Kaido despite coating her attacks. They weren't given godly power, they worked and trained and then learnt how to use it because they had the will to rise to the top

Any powerup is only as good as the base form of the person using it. Yamato wasn't doing shit with her "advanced" CoC.

Luffy looks OP because his base was ridiculous. He just lacked the Haki to harm Kaido.

having aCoC won't allow you to one-shot another strong person who doesn't have it. aCoC is simply a booster, and it doesn't equate to being stronger than people who don't have it.
