Powers & Abilities Advanced haki explained(cause Oda can't)

#1
Haki, AdCoC, AdCoA, Bougyou, Discharge, Ryou

These convoluted terms that have done our heads in the past 2 years are no clearer now than during Luffy's prison stay in Udon. By expanding on AdCoC, I will attempt to clarify Oda's intentions when introducing these concepts, and dispel common misunderstandings

AdCoC:

AdCoC features multiple rings, black lightning and, typically, the lack of physical contact. Jinbe is a perfect example, seeing as he's the most proficient user to date.

AdCoC can be overlayed with different hakis, to produce unique effects. For example, we see Usopp demonstrate AdCoC, albeit slightly different to Jinbe's, on Fishman Island. He overlays this ability with his seeds, producing devastating effects

Depending on the user's other techniques, his AdCoC can become much more potent. For example in Wano, we see Luffy and Zoro overlay their AdCoC with discharge overflow of the bougyou variety. This produces cushioned bubbles. The use of this ability culminated in Zoro abandoning the WSS path, and opting for the Pirate King path(an important plot point that may result in betrayal in few arcs yonder)

I asked ChatGPT:

Haki - Haki is a mysterious power that certain characters in One Piece possess. It allows the user to sense the presence of others, as well as to project their willpower onto others. There are three types of Haki: Observation Haki (also known as Kenbunshoku Haki), Armament Haki (also known as Busoshoku Haki), and Conqueror's Haki (also known as Haoshoku Haki).

AdCoC - AdCoC stands for Advanced CoA (Color of Armament) Haki. It's a more powerful and advanced form of Armament Haki that allows the user to imbue their attacks with even more destructive force.

AdCoA - AdCoA stands for Advanced CoO (Color of Observation) Haki. It's a more powerful and advanced form of Observation Haki that allows the user to sense and predict their opponents' movements and attacks with even greater accuracy.

Bougyou - Bougyou, also known as "coverage," is a term used to describe the range and extent of a character's Haki. The more powerful a character's Haki, the greater their Bougyou.

Discharge - Discharge is a technique used by characters in One Piece who possess the power of electricity. It allows them to release a powerful burst of electricity, either from their body or from a weapon.

Ryou - Ryou is a term used in Wano Country to describe a specific application of Haki that allows the user to imbue their attacks with the power of their own spirit. It's a technique used by characters such as Roronoa Zoro and Kozuki Oden.

What the shit is this I don't even remember this move from Ussop. What the fuck it's actually a cool move. Why the fuck hasn't he used it since FMI lol
Because he respect himself as a Sniper who follows the Brave Warrior Path challenging all CoC users that he will make it to the top without using AdCoC so he refuses to use AdCoC.

Only used it against Fishman because all Fishman can use AdCoC and he needed to show us that he can do it too.

Chat GPT is limited with 2021 information. It doesn't know a shit about 2022 and beyond.
