Future Events After Kaidou, will Luffy be free from underdog narrative?

Its understandable for Oda to keep Luffy's boyish charms by having him lose in no-stake battles after this arc like against Chopper, Usopp, Buggy, Foxy or even the stronger ones, but if its a battle with stakes then i'd personally be distasted if Luffy suffered the oneshot underdog syndrome again unless if its against Prime BB or Imu lol.

Yeah he likely won't unless that didn't indicate his power level sucked at that time. For example Apoo looked like giving Luffy some consistent issues but in reality that felt PIS-like.

1 shots are done for. Akainu blackbeard and Imu are pure evil when it comes to anyone who's an antagonist to their ideals. They'd just kill him.

Bumping this thread. Hmm after 1049-1050, Luffy seems like the type to still make mistakes even after FS and G5 lol

G5 is a massive booster. I feel it will take some RL years before Luffy will be in serious problems.
