If you look at god valley, the other legends were treated as being on a different level than the wings
Rayleigh fought Sommers. Gaban fought the bomb bomb fruit guy. Roger fought Imu, Garp, WB, and Rocks. Certainly as time passed the wings grew and eventually became powerful top tiers in their own right. But nothing suggests that growth wouldn't also apply to Roger.
The clearest example of where they all sit is marineford. Kizaru was comparable in strength to Rayleigh. WB was portrayed to be on another level from all of the admirals. And that was sickbeard.
Certainly in a 2v1 the wings might be able to hold their own and put up a good fight. But from feats alone the gap between Luffy and his wings is pretty high and Luffy would likely beat Zoro and Sanji's ass in a 1v2, even if the wings would be able to land a few good hits and do some damage.

Old Gaban now has feats against the real Imu while none of the characters mentioned are gone without even knowing how he really looks. It doesn't matter. There can be prenty of reasons why Oda kept them out of the main battle, like Rayleigh having to take care of Shakky (they were already etablished to be lovers hundreds of chapters ago).

MF WB only had one scene where he looked good against an admiral and that was when he was enraged and went all out (so an outlier feat from a character pushing their limits like 2 hp Gaban pressing Imu), all the other confrontations he was getting bullied.

I'm pretty sure Blackbeard is going to be clearly above the rest of his crew by a good gap, I don't really think the exact matchups are super relevant here. The same pattern exists with Imu and the Gorosei
I don't think Roger is all that relevant for Luffy's journey beyond this point. He's probably about to surpass him and Oda is going to establish Joyboy as the new blueprint for Luffy, while Sanji and Zoro are stuck with Rayleigh and Gaban.

This and last chapter showed the level of Old, severely injured Gaban. He sent Imu flying, left him bloodied on the floor. Same Imu that low diffed G5 Luffy (Kaido's equal).
And this guy is below Sanji's FLOOR when Sanji's an old man.
So just how strong is Prime Sanji going to be then? Guy would be toying with current Imu right now. Current G5 Luffy and Kaido would be literal neg dif fodders, might even pass out just from his CoC.

Roger's crew has always been different from yonko crews, Big Mom had no fruit, no haki, the mentality of a 6yo and still basically defeated Queen in 2 shots. Luffy after defeating Dogtooth and Cracker was still a shit stain on Kaido's club.

Rayleigh is narratively stronger than Gaban yet Gaban said he was #2, meaning the gap between Rayleigh and Gaban is probably minimal ie Ray extreme-diffs Gaban.
Gaban as a result also admitted direct inferiority to Roger. This means the gap between Roger and Ray/Gaban is larger than the gap between Ray and Gaban.
So it's certainly still possible for Roger to mid-diff his wings if not more than likely. Ray and Gaban were about to team up on Oden who got swatted like a fly by Roger. And Ray and Gaban were Yonko level in their primes.
