Because that’s the basic rule in a crossover fight.
By weaken, do you mean removing shallow arguments like RC?
If you follow that logic, would Superman Prime, Hulk, or Saitama lose to the captains from the Soul Society arc? Do you think that’s right? The fight being written by a Bleach writer in a crossover?

It's only shallow because your favorite characters have no counter to it, I don't like haki or devil fruits, can we remove that from the discussion too? How about we just equalize AP, durability, speed, range and intelligence to make it really fair?
Many iterations of Superman and Hulk have very strong soul resistance feats so they'd withstand having their soul crushed, Saitama and Doflamingo do not so they are victims, this is how hax works, you either have feats saying it doesn't work on you or you get folded by it, Bleach is not alone in having this.

How are Doflamingo and Saitama supposed to have RC feats if they aren’t from the Bleach universe?
The closest thing to that is Big Mom with the Soul-Soul Fruit, where we learned that souls in One Piece also have different levels, as seen with the homies.
One Piece characters can also see souls, since they’re able to see Brook in his spirit form.
They are far from being ordinary people.

They don't need RC feats, they just need feats of very strong soul resistance, RC crushes the soul, if the soul is very strong and durable then it requires a character with stronger Reiatsu to crush them.
There are basically zero soul resistance feats in One Piece aside from Brook, and his soul feats come nowhere close to Bleach's.

Now, if you ask me whether Aizen could RC Doflamingo, I’d say it’s likely. But a character like Grimmjow wouldn’t be able to do that to Doffy.

We can probably assume that someone like Luffy has a stronger soul than someone like Nami as an example, but that doesn't really tell us much because there aren't any noteworthy soul resistance feats to scale either of them from.

If they made a crossover they'd probably ignore every established rule just for simplicity and for the sake of writing, they've already done this with the Toriko/Dragon Ball/One Piece crossovers. But we aren't discussing a fight between hypothetical crossover characters, we're discussing a fight between the characters as they are from their respective verses.

Bleach characters aren't normal people either. Even if we equalize it, Aizen negates everything Doffy has by this logic with his "haki" being so much stronger.
Besides, OP needs better soul resistance to even compete. Characters who are made up of hundreds of thousands of souls are affected by Aizen.

Luffy’s soul is not on the same level as a background character’s soul — not even close, actually. I only brought this up because someone a few posts earlier tried to imply that One Piece characters are just regular humans with common, fodder-level souls, when they clearly aren’t.
Imu’s soul is not the same as Don Gringo’s soul, not even close — infinitely different.
But then we also have to look at feats. Doflamingo is far more impressive than Grimmjow. This isn't the case in One Piece because it has energy systems, but a verse like One Punch Man can only be debated by feats, since it doesn’t have spiritual energy, only physical energy. Looking at feats is always useful.

If we look at feats, we need to take everything into account then. People tend to look at them in isolation and either downplay or wank said feats.
Grimmjow for example was distorting space with his GRC and shot it upwards, but we don't see much destruction from it. We're told that it can destroy Las Noches.
Other characters also have feats that might not look visually massive, but they end up being a stronger than most people think.
Please don't use a filler crossover as an arugment, that's purely entertainment and it doesn't count towards anything. Toriko and DBZ are massively above OP in power.

It used to be, but dimension-shaking feats and planet/dimension size calculations intended for upgrading certain verses started sprouting like weeds a couple of years back, and then they spread around everywhere.
Also looking over at *ahem* that site for Aizen, this is 100% not a match that Doffy has any chance at winning now, especially in 2025.
Maybe it should have been worth something back in 2018.
