Akainu had a 10 day battle with Aokiji that was talked about by the entire world.

I’d say that’s probably grander lol.

He’s the only top tier combatant to convincingly defeat another top tier in a clean 1v1 inthe entire story.

And the world is likely privy to stories about the admirals that we haven’t heard because they haven’t been villains yet.

All that is this generation though.

He was the admiral of this generation, who later became Fleet Admiral.

He's the guy who played biggest role in defeat of Whitebeard in this generation.

He had 10 days combat with Aokiji this generation.

Similarly, 20+ years ago all the heroics and grander stuff to go down in history were done by likes of Garp and Sengoku.

Before that, it was era of Kong and co.

King can't be last survivor if the race went extinct 800 years ago

Either they were beaten 800 years ago but were forced to be slaves but King escaped while being experimented by WG coz Queen took him with him

I think the entire race was chased out of the Redline by the WG, which was then occupied by them. The race must've been hunted due to their abilities, strength and the danger they pose to the WG - eventually leading to a huge decline in numbers. Very few of them survived and King is the last of his kind now.

From what look like the Lunarians were hunted when the WG moved to the Red Line at the end of the Void Century.

Much more like King is from a group that run away and survived hiding from the WG, or even that the Lunarians were enslaved and used for experiments, and King was one of those experiments, that was set free by Kaido when he was experimentei on PH.


Kaido wasnt going to Marineford, he was going after WB.
