Speculations Akainu's Backstory and the reason he hates pirates as much as he does

Due to Akainu's immense hatred of pirates something horrible or traumatic must have happened to him

Many people are Wondering what Akainu's backstory is gonna be if/when we finally see it

I think that I have a theory of what Akainu's past is my theory is that Pirates raided and burned his home village and killed everyone including his parents in front of his eyes which he has such a great hatred of them

That would explain Akainu's hatred of pirates and his extreme personality

Do you think this backstory or something like it is likely for him?

yes he couldn't stop talking about Dragon, which shows you where his true motives lie. Akainu ia not anti-pirate in principle. Akainu is concerned with being personally wronged by dragon over being anti-pirate in principle, unlike Smoker and Fujitora that are truly anti-pirate. Akainu went after Luffy, and Ace would have gotten away had it not been for his self-sacrifice, and Akainu would have been responsible for that, just to satisfy a personal vendetta against Dragon. Hence, there is no pirate-related trauma in Akainu's past much as there is no depth to his wrath or anger, as there's no core or principle to it; rather its just wanton rage spurred by personal impulses and provocations rather than an ideological driven wrath.

Akainu is an antivillain, he has a good aim of restoring order to the world but will do bad things for it and tolerate/enable the WG's evil in the process.

I strongly believe that he and Kizaru were lied to by the WG in some way regarding D clan or revolutionaries in some way to keep them working for them, under the delusion that they were working for the greater good.

Kinda like Bert and Reiner from AOT.

Hatred towards pirates is understandable but bro killed marines who were deserting the battle and realised they have no place there.

His aim is total annihilation not that someone should not go through what he went through himself. (If what you said above is true).

Deception, cheap tricks is what he uses but he isn't a coward like blackbeard either.
