Hey Everyone
1st) I'm creating this post because i didn't find any to this series, if i missed and done wrong I'm sorry.
2) Akane Banashi is a manga series about the titular girl Akane as after some strong events on her childhood that happened to her dad, engaged in the art of Rakugo, a way to tell stories.
3) You can read it for free on mangaplus app or viz
My opinion on it:
The Rakugo stuff is some sort of hit or miss as i'm not familiar with the stories themselves as they're not part of my culture. Instead i'm engaged on the ever continuous progress of Akane, that started to train from very young with her father's former master. It follows the core skeleton as in:
Obstacle>Struggle> work your weaknesses> suceed
I also thing that the MC being a young woman makes it more compelling and adds more to the difficulty of it as Rakugo seems to be a very traditional art so those stuff are hard to get in when you're young and out of society standars.
Amazes me how the autor makes akane be convey her storytelling by doing the faces(we dont have audio in manga so the tone of voice is helped by visuals) and makes me root for her all the time and be curious on where she gonna go next.
So i wonder if anyone else has some feelings about this manga, which i find it has had no bad chapters in all of its 55 so far.
And if you're curious give it a try.
