they were ranging from 120 to 300+ depending on the seller and considering the above Gardevoir is selling on the official website for 350 that's when I realized
the con is that scalpers completely infest every single aspect of Pokemon and price out 95% of the things I care about but at the very least I no longer get bullied or shitted on 24/7 for liking Pokemon (instead of Yu Gi Oh), since those supposed Pokemon haters are now bonafide Pokemon hoarders the last 2-3 years

Pokemon was actually very popular in my school. Digimon, Yu gi oh didn't even come close. We'd bring those cards to school and play in the recess time. Fun times. 🥰

the infuriating thing as one of the few Pokemon fans in my school was that my teachers were constantly targetting me and conficating my cards and GameBoy/DS (especially at Lunch) while the YuGiOh students in my school were very, very shrewd and hid their cards/games well and never once got confiscated, even in the few instances they were seen by teachers. Many of them right now are fuckbois/crypto enthusiasts that I continue to beef with, and as a result I've always associate YuGiOh with them and I've never gotten into that series (except the 5DS anime).
Literally had to wait until college until I actually had a community to talk Pokemon with in-person. Same w/ Naruto as a One Piece fan until i found Oro Jackson and now WorstGen/Reddit. I was on my own for the most part.

In PLA you could as the trainer run around as far away (to escape right after an action) or as close during the battle but the Pokemon would be stationary the whole time. This time your pokemon will move with you, but so will the opponent's which will make battles a lot more 'responsive' (RIP being able to plan between attack turns) and on the fly.
(everything else in terms of battle mechanics looks the same as we got in PLA) nvm

Oh that is cool being able to move with your Pokemon. I hope they improve on the let's go feature or else it'd be a bummer collecting items and gaining experience by battling random Pokemon.
I dunno the trailer didn't do much for me to sell the game, Triple A and indies offer us much more. It's been fun GF but let down by you greedy fuckers
