Pokemon really is becoming more of a Jokemon lmao. Copycat indie games inspired by Pokemon look so much better than this and there's Palworld too ofc.
Parts of their designs do look nice but it looks too OTT/flanderised for me as well. These are mega evolutions I'm guessing?

i fucking hate that you cannot access all 3 until ZA's online ranked system begins months after release AND you have to participate/win to actually get them. which means you can't even touch it during the main story
Switch Online I can live with but waiting months when most plan to play immediately is bullshit

Ah nice one, idk if it's just Nintendo secretly brainwashing me or stockholm syndrome or I just realised I was being too harsh earlier initially, but those designs are kinda growing on me now. Kinda lol. I do sort of like the goofiness of them and they are still cute too.
That's pretty awesome that Raichu got Mega Evolutions regardless too. Mega Evolutions are such a funny, epic and brilliant concept lol. I remember seeing some memes around them and laughing my ass off.

I already used Tepig in my Black 2 run years ago so will unfortunately have to pass. I want to use Chesnaught for the first time (already used Delphox in Y) so I will be choosing Totodile as my Z/A starter instead of Chikorita
Z/A is now available to be downloaded on Switch 2.... can't play it yet but wow that's early...
