Character Discussion All the Ls Zoro has taken in Wano

#84
Nah, Oda set everything up and now we wait. Portrayal wise Zoro is far from his peak, he's going to be a legend before his next birthday.
Story wise...its highly unlikely Zoro gets a sideplot devoted to his past. Its also highly unlikely Zoro gets a sideplot devoted to something about himself...aside from WSS at EoS.

A megathread to document all the Ls Zoro has taken in Wano now that it's officially over

Zoro will gather the Samurai.

Zoro will avenge Yasui.

Zoro will forge a black blade by the end of Wano.

Zoro will become the Monster Samurai Kaido spoke of by the end of Wano.

Zoro will wake up again.

Zoro will defeat the Grim Reaper and become the King of Hell.

Zoro will confront Kaido a second time.

Zoro will slice Kaido to pieces.

Zoro will slay Kaido above the Flower Capital.

Zoro's background will be explored in Wano.

Zoro will visit Ryuma's grave.

Zoro will become the hero of Wano like Ryuma.

Zoro will be the 2nd Ryuma.

Feel free to comment any Ls for Zoro in Wano that I've missed
Fodder Zolow fans with their miniscule intelligence think a fodder like Zolow can Kill a God like Waido. Zolow needed Mink cum to not die and not get killed by King and Oden's residual haki and the greatness of the blade Enma is what led to zolow surviving. Without Enma Zolow is a fodder and whoever thinks differently has a pea sized brain and is a joke in real life.

I honestly thought Zoro would be called the Monstrous Samurai considering his whole character embodies the bushido code. Instead Luffy gets that comparison despite his character being the complete opposite of a samurai. Personally, I am still confused by that comparison. I really thought I knew how to read.
Pretty sure Kaido mentioned the "monstrous samurai" being capable of reopening his scar when the Scabbards failed to do so then Zoro created a new scar. I'd say Zoro was the monstrous samurai, Oda just didn't feel the need to repeat it since he mentioned that the previously mentioned accomplishment is what such a person would be able to do at bare minimum.

In my opinion, Luffy wasn't the monstrous samurai, he became a legend of his own of similar renown as Ryuuma. His fame and heroism is now comparable to Ryuuma but the only time I recall a monster samurai or anything like that being mentioned was when the Scabbards failed to reopen Oden's scar which Zoro went beyond by creating a completely new one and being acknowledged by Kaido.

I'll be honest, a lot of stuff was underwhelming but for the most part, Zoro was treated quite well. Zoro vs Killer, Zoro cutting down Apoo, Zoro holding back hakai momentarily, Zoro defeating King, pretty nice list.

I'd say there's room for Oda to revisit some of these plotlines like the Ryuuma visit if he incorporates it into an interesting scene with a flashback but ultimately Oda shouldn't rely on that too often. Other stuff I feel is nit-picking like the rounding up the samurai thing, it wasn't that big a deal. Other stuff is indeed underwhelming but characters are allowed to disappoint, Zoro wanted to cut down Kaido but stuff doesn't always go the way a specific character wants and he'll just have to channel his frustrations into improving.

-Zoro failed to put Apoo down for good, when Apoo was supposed to be beneath Zoro power-level wise.
-Zoro keeping Enma can be considered a L. Because since Enma is a part of the insufferable Lolden's wank,Zoro is keeping Lolden's wank alive by keeping it.
-His backstory being a unimportant thing thrown in a sbs was very laughable. It was as shameful as Fraudo's shitty flashback,as it confirmed that like Fraudo,Zoro is a brute with zero depth.

If only there wasn't Supernovas like Kid or character like Yamato, Zoro plotline would've been better

Also, The Shogun not being powerful swordsman to match Zoro is a waste opportunity no matter how you look at it. Oda went the troll route it's not even funny NGL, you can only get angry
Worstgen could have come up with a better idea that Oda made. Powerful swordsman from Wano + Kaido team up to take down Oden. Instead we have a useless punk be the mastermind who takes up all the spotlight from actual characters. Scabbards also, could have stayed dead, atleast half of them. Cut the Oden flashback short. And look, suddenly there is more time to focus on actual main characters? Who would have thought
