I had this thought after the Holy knights and Gorosei being strong was revealed. It seemed weird for the marines to be on the side of the WG during the final war if WG was secretly stronger than the marines this whole time

And now we have Kizaru being revealed to be a good-ish guy and Akainu is going to learn the secrets of the world due to this Kuma incident in Mariejois

All the marines, including Kizaru, Akainu and Greenbull(he’ll follow Akainu coz he’s a fanboy) are gonna switch sides.

It’s gonna be the entire World (Pirates, Kingdoms, Revs and Marines) versus the WG

Akainu would never side with pirates no matter what happen.

Kizaru hasn't been revealed to be a goodish guy. Lol Kizaru has always been like this. He just wants to complete his mission. He said same thing to Rayleigh. He didn't even want to bother with him.

I really dislike these super powerful and capable characters taking orders from those stupid little goblins

Imo:

- The Marines (Akainu's Marines) will turn on the WG, but they will not fight with Pirates, they will fight against them. Fujitora dislikes pirates, he "only" likes Luffy. Ryokugyuu respects Akainu. Both will side with him when the time comes.

- Imu and the Gorosei ARE strong, and this is why there is differentiation between Marines and WG. Oda just added 9-13 more major characters in their ranks, on top of the 6 we know.

- This will all lead to some sort of 6-8 sided, staggered clash in the endgame. First, it'll probably be just Yonko, then Marines join in on the chaos then the WG and RA. All in consecutive arcs starting at Elbaf or post-Elbaf.
