Best character in what sense?

Luffy is a unique MC that’s hard to pull off. The sincerity behind his unworldliness anchors the earnestness of One Piece. It wouldn’t be what it is without him.

The only real competition to that comes from Sanji, Robin and Blackbeard. Nami and Usopp were pretty good earlier on, especially Usopp.
