There's no way Navy would be kept away from witnessing Kaido's downfall or partaking in it.
If there is no reporter or navy around, Alliance members will not get credits as they should.

Navy was there at PH , even Absalom was around PH and DR
Fujitora and Navy didn't fight Doffy but witnessed his defeat
Morgans wasn't there when Cracker fell but was present to witness the 2 most important events : Tea party and Katakuri's defeat.

Same way , Navy wasn't there before or during the raid but will be there in act 4 after the raid fails, they will be the reasons why alliance get chances to strike back

Admirals (Admiral level guys) were there whenever Great pirates fought each other or other pirates... Wano won't be different.

Even when you look at past saga about DR, Fuji was the main admiral but Tsuru and Sengoku who had a history with Doffy and Law, showed up at the end. Tsuru got finally her chance to capture Doffy While Sengoku finally got the chance to see the boy that Roxinante saved.

We know Kizaru has a past with SNs and was hinted to come. Garp will surely be present since has history with Rocks, and Akainu might tag along too.

Garp > God Valley
Sengoku (Garp & Tsuru also took part) > Edd War
Logia Admirals (Sengoku and Garp were also present) > MF war
Fuji (Tsuru & Sengoku came at the end) > DR
Kizaru and Garp + ? Akainu? > Wano War

Garp has been present everytime Rocks is involved, so wano isn't different.

Akainu and Kizaru will come since they are more written to fight active NW pirates unlike GB and Fuji whose plots revolve around Warlords & Revos.
GB + Sengoku + Tsuru will be defending the HQ while Fuji hunts warlords.

So yeah,
  • Navy is yet to come,
  • Yamato is yet to confront Kaido and make her final statement ,
  • Hawkins predictions
  • Kaido is yet to get flashbacks even.
Dont expect much from raid to succeed
This is the same like "full moon and Avenging Oden" so Retainers shouldn't lose to Kaido since it will be repetitive , if they do then Kaido must cheat. "
Same thing here " they cant lose or they'll be killed" " kaido will cheat"

As long there's no WG around, the chances of Kaido fallig are slim.
Moriah will also come with Teach... oda won't let moriah miss this chance just like Crocodile and Teach were there to witness Newgate's downfall .
Pirates and Marines who got a beef/history with a Great Pirate will be around when he/she falls.

Not a chance ,at this point i would say any point of losing will only drag this arc.

People are focused on standard kabuki play but oda will not follow that norm or standard kabuki act
If kaido defeats them its finished i mean its total victory for yonkos.

Considering we are expected Shanks to move in 2021 we may have like 30 odd chapters for kaido's downfall.

I personally believe that the alliance must fail for the simple reason that if this is really the final battle it means that Oda failed to create the proper atmosphere.

Since the beginning of the raid everything has been laughts and jokes on the part of the alliance, it doesn't feel that we are in the final battle in enemy territory, the raid must fail so everyone can learn a lesson, they must fall then rise up stronger, a true Yonko crew

And I wouldn't take the Shanks thing so literally, remember Coby and Hancock

This is something Toki said towards Wano(country/Citizens of wano).

  • ignorant of the Dawn => most probably relating to being a closed country.
  • If there is one ardent wish that must be fulfilled => Historical wish of wano country(or maybe Part of Joyboy's wish similar to FIshman island).

The Dawn= Luffy himself + Luffy' s/Roger's Dream and Goal( being PK is just a means towards it)
Shadows= Scabbards

The Scabbards brought Luffy to Wano so their purpose if fulfilled

The world is ignorant of Luffy, and so is Wano

Once Luffy becomes Pirate King, they will understand why Luffy's journey is important( aka what Oda said in 2019)

The Dawn is Luffy

Act threes supposed to end in tragedy.. Onigahima landing on the Capital and killing thousands would be pretty tragic lol

Idk if Oda's got the stones for that. But a regroup with deeper motivation and One on Ones could push Wano into a top 5 arc.

Toki prophecy talks about Oden's wish will be fullfilled by the 9 Shadows. What is Oden's last and biggest wish? OPENING THE WANO BORDER. And who, in his dying moment, did Oden entrust this task for? THE 9 SCABBARBs. He didnt entrusrt this specific task for young powerful pirattes, he just said that they are the only one who could defeat Kaidou. Its no coincidencd that the moment Kanjurou turned out to be a traitor, Oda brought back Izo immediately to replace his spot among the 9. And in the last chapter, Law switched them back under thr roof, where Marco is. So Oda must have something else in store for them.
And let be frank here, will Oda let the Samurais, a Japanese symbolism, Japan's greatest warriors, be completely hopeless and have to fully rely on outsider force to do anything, in an arc which clearly represents Japan itself?
So the 5 on the roof might be the ones to defeat Kaidou, but the Samurai of Wano, or specifically, the 9 , will be the ones to open the Border

Hell, i don't even think the raid will last multiple days anyway. What's the old saying again? "The night is darkest before the Dawn"? With so much Oda has been playing around with the concept of Dawn since the raid began, it's super obvious that Kaidou will be defeated at around Dawn in the morning, which is like 6 hours from now. Yes there will be setback, hence the "darkest before the dawn". :kata:

Can't be stressed enough the importance of the hour. Japan is known as the land of the rising sun. Wano will be free by dawn. Oda loves these literal symbolisms, as seen with the "heavenly demon Doffy falling deep into the ground upon defeat, or the shady mastermind Crocoboy being smashed towards the surface for all to see. The fact the battle has been happening at night is obvious set up for the dawn, which is around the hour of the tiger. Perfect time for the dragon to fall.

Addendum: You're right about Oda not disrespecting the Samurai, which is why there's one still there to fight Kaido. "cough" Zoro "cough."

Seriously this is a flawed logic since we know Luffy ,kidd and law won't die even if they lose to Rocks duo or kaido alone.
Strawhats won't ever die now.

Remember Tea Party? Cacao Island? Yeah we thought alliance was done for but then... oda kept saving them.

The alliance will lose this round:
  • Because there's no way they can beat kaido alone, let alone Both emperors . Just look at how kaido soloed 9 strong dudes and floating the island casually.
  • Hawkins predictions are yet to be fulfilled, 2 more weeks left
  • BM won't betray Kaido now, it's not yet time
  • A 3rd party needs to come: Navy + SSG or Teach or CP

Wano will be devastated after Onigashima is dropped
SNs will fight for their survival for the next 2 weeks ---> 19% chances of survival that Hawkins predicted
Main Battles will happen all over Wano : Udon , Ringo, Kuri etc...
This is where and when Marines will show up to give alliance chances to winning.
The main fight between Kaido and SNs will be at onigashima (flower capital)

This wasn't a good RANT.

Hawkins didn't predicted a shit. He calculates possibilities. And Luffy already "survived" back at Sabaody/Marineford.

CP was already there and made their job.

BM doesn't seem to betray Kaido but who knows.

Scabbards are not strong compared to Kaido. They did almost no damage. And was never proofed that lifting Onigashima was nerfing him.
