Funkfreed and Lassoo are objects with a souless animal mind thanks to a devil fruit, way different than actually gaining a soul from a human being. Not only these three but homies in general have been shown to perform behaviors that require a certain level of human intelligence, such as plotting, managing information or falling in love. For example, Napoleon has been shown managing the intel of Whole Cake Island as he reported to Linlin on issues like the schedule for the guests, the preparation of the cake and the chances of Luffy to save Sanji depending on certain factors. You can't state that they aren't characters but unintelligent weapons when you have an entire page like that with the hat informing Linlin and managing her agenda and not the other way around.

About your "reluctant to even fight" part, as I said, the moment they felt a threat in Linlin's bedroom, the moment they instantly went full attack mode only for a fly. Now "mama" has been attacked tons of times and none of them has done anything to prevent it. I mean, even Zeus, who seems to be the most childish and innocent out of the three, was trying to electrocute Carrot while sleepy because he thought the fly was back.

Yep,and it's mad. People act like Ussop hit her with his rubberband and he dealt damage. The only thing the SH did right now is basically stalling her. No damage ,no anything. Franky hit her with a speeding motorcycle and did absolutely nothing and Jinbe along with Robin just made her roll away for a bit.
Multiple people managing to stall her for mere minutes ,isn't dealiñg with her in a stupid way.

One of the biggest mistakes Oda did when writing series was introducing Yonko's as arc bosses after defeating mid-top Shichibukai.We can see that power gap between Doflamingo and Kaido Big Mom duo is so huge that he resorted to things such as Kaido fearing Oden,Big Mom suffering from hunger pangs in order to limit their abilities.Things we saw in last chapter are the result of the poor writing I mentioned above.

Difference is, big mom is stronger than all the straw hats combined. No other villain was like that, so yes it feels like oda puts her there and since he can’t just let her kill them all, he keeps doing this shit. Heck she was going for luffy and nami last chapter then got biked lmfao. It’s like watching an elephant getting clowned by a bunch of ants.

We're twenty plus years deep. There are like five other characters at the same level and Oda has already established that match ups are dictated by style. Can we accept that several crew members at once can at least inconvenience this one big dog?

Not at this point sorry, when you have nami getting fucked by brulee, manhandled by galette, chopper and carrot the same. Franky fighting extreme diff with machvise and senior pink,etc And having trouble against baby 5 and that flying helicopter dude whatever his fucking name was.

Your point is probably not as elaborate as you think, if you're saying not reluctant to fight because "he almost zapped a person while trying to zap a fly many volumes ago." Just because they can speak the universal story language, it doesn't make them more complex than Pokemon when it comes to being characters in the story.

I compared them to Funkfreed and there's an element binding them that isn't even present with Funkfreed: Zeus, Prometheus, and Napoleon are fragments of her own soul. There's nothing to fight or complicate here tbh.
