Franky starting the raid by running over big moms face, about to shoot her and telling Nami, “Bitch calm down we here to kick some ass.”
Then he takes out one of the enemies top 10 fighters and a rival to Jinbes opponent, starts causing more Super Damage to Onigashima, then sees Zoro get flung from Kingdom come and tells him, “Yo Bro want me to tag in.”
So yeah. Imma go franky. People expected the dude to be out of his weight class and he’s honestly been one of the more dependable fighters in the raid with taking 0 time to recuperate.
Luffy Zoro and Sanji everyone expected great things, but Franky did all this without the expectations

- Made Queen shit on his pants.
- Gave the vaccine to chopper and saved the lives of the alliance.
- Intimidated 2 Yonko.
- Saved Luffy from Kaido.
- Can cut fire (cut Prometheus).
- Cut the horn of the onigashima.
- Cut Kaido.
- Tanked the strongest attack of the series.
- Saved the lives of rooftop SNs.
- Fought Kaido on 1 on 1 with 30 bones broken.
- Scarred Kaido.
- COC confirmed by Kaido.
- Fighting a god, who is on another level.
- Learned Adv COC.
- ...
- ...
- ...
- ...

When I started reading this arc, all I expected was Luffy to take down Kaido, Zoro to take down Kaido's #2 and Sanji to take down Kaido's #3 - like a typical OP arc.
But boy did he exceed expectations.
Styled on multiple supernovas, was called as one of the leaders of the next generation, Roofpiece - stopped Hakai momentarily, perma-scarred Kaido with Ashura and then was revealed as a Conqueror. He then got his 1v1 with King and unlocked Conquerors coating - cementing his place among the "handful of the very strongest".
It's Zoro and it's not even close lmao. Anyone who says otherwise is hard capping - even the most hardcore Zoro fanboys didn't expect all of this going into Wano.

My personal ranking is
Zoro, the rooftop fight was just insane, I don't think anyone excepted something like that
Sanji, he settled himself as the best written character, the "luffy, which version of me do you want around?" moment hit like a truck, and it was revealed that he was holding back during the entirety of the post ts, I did not see that reveal coming, turns out, he took Ls only because he was too strong for his own good
Franky, he was a chad this whole arc, he ran over a yonko, challenged her, was ready to throw hands with king, fought and defeated an opponent on the same level as jimbei's, and is still fine
Nami, she just had her best moments this arc
Luffy (he's been impressive but everything was already expected aside from the sky split moment)
Robin
Chopper
Jimbei
Brook
Usopp
oda did usopp so dirty you straight up had to show nami's best moments, because those are the only moments usopp had relevant screen time in
